Adelphi University President Robert A. Scott invites you to join your fellow 1956 classmates as an honored guest at the 2006 Adelphi University Commencement Exercises to be held on the morning on Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
You are invited to join President Scott for the President's Reception and Celebratory Luncheon immediately following Commencement at the Long Island Marriott Hotel adjacent to the Coliseum.
There will be one (1) VIP guest ticket available for special reserved seating at Commencement and for the President's Reception and Celebratory Luncheon.

May 22, 2006 Schedule
8:45 AM — Ceremonial Robing will begin.
9:15 AM — Processional will begin promptly.
The Class of 1956 photo will be taken at the conclusion of the exercises.
Following the President's Luncheon, the University will offer a guided tour of the campus concluding with a champagne and strawberry reception.
Accommodations at the Long Island Marriott
The University has reserved a block of rooms at the Long Island Marriott for our alumni and their guests at the group rate of $159 (plus tax) per night. Please contact the hotel directly at 516.794.3800 to make your reservations. You must mention that you are attending the Adelphi University Reunion to receive this special rate.
There will be a informal dinner for alumni on Sunday, May 21, at a cost of $40.00 per person.
Transportation for Marriott Guests
Transportation will be provided for alumni and guests to and from the hotel, the Coliseum, and the Adelphi campus.
Parking at the Coliseum
For alumni not staying at the Long Island Marriott, there will be reserved parking available at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the day of Commencement. A parking pass will be sent along with your tickets.
